I am loving the background! You said you had fun, and I see why! You did a great job with the grass, the mud and even the lighting! I see what you mean about the pupil thing, too bad Avian's don't have them but this worked nonetheless!

It looks very cute and adorable with the kid Avian trying to catch the bug (butterfly?). The lines, like I have always said before, I love your line work and makes me want to perservier and evolve in skill! The shading is fabulous and the blurring effect you did with his tail and hind leg works very well.

Some things that may have helped visually is if the leap was posed a bit more dynamic, though this is way cuter~!
